1. General Provisions

Welcome to Shutter & Lens. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and our physical shop services. By purchasing camera gear from us or booking a repair service, you accept these terms in full.

We strive to provide accurate descriptions of all photography equipment, repair processes, and associated pricing. However, we reserve the right to correct any pricing errors or inventory inaccuracies that may occur.

2. Photography Equipment Sales

We offer a curated selection of both new and pre-owned camera equipment. All used gear undergoes a rigorous inspection and testing process prior to being listed for sale.

• Condition grading: Used items are graded accurately. Any known cosmetic or functional defects will be disclosed prior to purchase.
• Returns: Standard equipment purchases may be returned within 14 days, provided the items remain in their original purchased condition with all included accessories.
• Warranties: New items carry their respective manufacturer warranties. Pre-owned items include a limited 90-day shop warranty covering mechanical failure under normal use.

3. Repair & Servicing

Our professional servicing department treats your gear with the utmost care. Upon receiving your equipment, we will conduct an initial assessment and provide a cost estimate before beginning any major repair work.

• Estimates: Assessment fees may apply if you decline the repair after an estimate is provided.
• Timelines: Servicing timelines depend on the complexity of the repair and the availability of specific replacement parts. We will communicate expected completion dates clearly.
• Liability: While your equipment is in our possession, we are fully insured against loss or damage caused by our handling. We are not responsible for pre-existing internal damage discovered during the disassembly process.
